On June 25, students of the Astrakhan State Medical University took part in the equator of the year of the volunteer community of the Astrakhan region. The event was held in Astrakhan State Medical University, on the Boiling Point platform.
The purpose of this event was to introduce volunteer organizations.
Activists of the Astrakhan State Medical University, VOD “Medical Volunteers "and the Volunteer Center," Student Mentoring " took an active part in this event. Organizational issues, the design of the NGO site were discussed, as well as the gathering of participants was carried out. After that, a fair of non-profit organizations was held, at which activists presented their sites.
Our students presented 2 platforms:
1. Promotion of healthy lifestyle
2. Medical examination
The organizers also summed up the results of the year of voluntary activity of volunteer movements. "Medical volunteers" were awarded for their contribution to the development of volunteerism in the Astrakhan region.
