What is The Procedure to Calculate the Score?

Once you have the answer keys and the scorecard, but you still fail to analyse your score, then check the steps below to know the method for the calculation of your score for NEET 2020.

  • In total the question paper is of 180 questions. Each question is for four marks, which accounts to a complete value of 720 marks.
  • So, for a correct answer, the candidate is rewarded with +4 marks.
  • In case your answer is wrong, you will have negative marking. For every wrong answer, (-)1 mark is deducted from your overall score.
  • If you do not know the correct answer, it is better to leave the question unattempted, as there is no negative marking for unanswered questions and hence you remain on a safer side.
  • Make sure you do not mark more than one options in a question. If you highlighted more than one options, it would not have any markings.
