Established in 1979,South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA) is a brilliant medical school, which aims to offer high quality of medical and pharmaceutical education to the students at all levels.SKMA ranks among the top medical universities of Kazakhstan where medium of instruction is English. US, Singapore, Europe, and Russia are academic partners of SKMA. The University is located in the city ‘Shymkent’ in Kazakhstan which is a city in the Republic of Kazakhstan.Shymkent is the third largest city of Kazakhstan and a major industrial and cultural centre, as well as an important railway junction. SKMA PROGRAMS

SKMA offers Bachelor courses, Master courses, Diploma and Ph.D. courses.
All the programs are implemented with the use of integration and modules based modern training technology developed with the support of World Health Organization (WHO) experts.
Postgraduate and Phd Studies are conducted in abroad range of such clinical fields as: Internal Medicine, Neurology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Medical Physiotherapy, Gynecology Obstetrics, Surgery, Traumatology &Orthopedic and Pediatrics.

Admission Procedure of South Kazakhstan State Medical University

The student must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at 10+2 level and must have scored minimum 50% marks in it. This criteria can be relaxed up to 40% for the students belonging to reserved category.
In order to take an admission to South Kazakhstan State Medical University a student must have qualified NEET exam with good scores.
Students should have completed minimum 17 years of age on the 31st December of the year when they want to take an admission.

10th, 11th and 12th mark sheets
Fitness certificate by a registered doctor
Valid international passport
Scan copy of NEET - UG score card
All original educational certificates and birth certificate of the student
Study invitation approved by migration department of Kazakhstan
Medical insurance

Accommodation and Campus at SKMA

Hostels for students are provided with full security.
The university has well furnished hostels for its students. Hostels are provided by the university with the facilities like 24 hour gas and electricity supply, hot and cold water, etc.
There are Cafeterias for students that provides tasty and healthy food.
University encourages sports activities like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football etc. at the hostel campuses for students.
University has separate hostels for girls and boys and those have CCTV cameras for student’s safety. Special attention is given towards security of girls.

Application to the name of the Rector of the University with request for enrolment for studies at the University on the commercial basis.
Completed application form (including full name, date of birth, passport number, citizenship, permanent address, phone, fax and e-mail of applicant)
Original of Transcript of high school or college/university education with complete listing of courses, together with Originals of all diplomas, certifications and licenses (should be translated into Ukrainian language and legalised by the Notary public and by the Ukrainian Embassy in your country).
Original of Birth Certificate (should be translated into Ukrainian language and legalised by the Notary public and by the Ukrainian Embassy in your country).
Copy of inner page(s) of Passport.
Results of physical examination (should be translated into Ukrainian language and legalised by the Notary public and by the Ukrainian Embassy in your country).
Results of laboratory test for the presence of the AIDS virus (should be translated into Ukrainian language and legalised by the Notary public and by the Ukrainian Embassy in your country)
